in next sc, pull up a loop, yo, draw through last 5 loops on hook),
(Puff st), ch 1; repeat from * around; skip first ch 2, join with a
slip st to top of hdc: 8 puff sts. Fasten off, secure ends.

1) Right side facing, attach yarn in last stitch worked; Ch
1, sc in same stitch, sc in next ch 1 space; ch 1, turn work: 2 sc.
Row 2) 2 sc in same st, 2 sc
in next sc; ch 1, turn work: 4 sc.
Row 3) 2 sc in same st, sc
in next 2 sc, 2 sc in last sc; ch 1, turn work: 6 sc.
Row 4) 2 sc in same st, sc
in next 4 sc, 2 sc in last sc; ch 1, turn work: 8 sc.
Row 5) Skip first st, sc in
next 6 sc, leaving last sc unworked; ch 1, turn work: 6 sc.
Row 6) 2 sc in same st, sc
in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc; ch 1, turn work: 7 sc.
Row 7) Skip first st, sc in

Rows 2-9) Repeat Rows 2-9 of
Poinsettia Petals until all petals have been worked: 8 petals.

These Poinsettias are great for wreaths
too, just make several and attach to a grapevine or straw wreath
with other Christmas items.
Or try working the poinsettias with size #10
thread and size #8 steel hook for fridgies. Attach magnet to
