Row 2: ch 1, sc in blp of each sc across (35sc), turn. Row 3: ch 1, sc in blp of first 25 sc, turn, leaving rem 10 sc unworked. Row 4: ch 1, sc in blp of next 25 sc, turn. Row 5: ch 1, sc in blp of next 25 sc, sc in blp of next 10 sc 2 rows below (35sc), turn. Row 6: ch 1, sc in blp of next 35 sc, turn. Rows 7-8: Rep rows 3-4. Rep rows 5-8 until wider edge of Hat (stretched) measures 19" from beg or length required for desired fit, ending with Row 8 of pa. Fasten off, leaving a sewing length.
